1…..2…..3…..GO!

10 slides in just 2 minutes!

We hosted the first 10 in 2 event for 2022 on Thursday 5th May.

The evening was punchy, quick, and challenging for our presenters but was fun for everyone involved.

‘10 in 2’ kicked off with some breezy networking accompanied by bubbles and nibbles. Following this, the event moved into a short welcome from Phoebe Clark (Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce) and an introduction to the layout of the evening. The rules, 2 minutes to present, 2 minutes for questions, and a winner to be voted by the audience.

The seven businesses that presented were:

  1. Logan Stone – presented by Will Lawler
  2. The Collective Impact – presented by Jo Pearson
  3. Young Enterprise – presented by Grace Hogan
  4. DCA Architects of Transformation – presented by Marie Fleming
  5. Wands Psychology – presented by Wanda Douglas
  6. HB Technologies – presented by Duncan Wallace
  7. Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust – presented by Amber McArthur

With a wide variety of speakers, from Architecture to Psychology, no presentation was the same. All seven were engaging, captivating and had the audience raising their hands with questions.

Finally, the results of the night were tallied. It was a very close fight, but the winner was Amber McArthur from Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust.

Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust is a registered charity established to provide a dedicated Rescue Helicopter service to Hawke’s Bay. Each year the crew of 9 assist with almost 400 missions. The service is free and available 24/7. Amber’s presentation was informative and well received by the crowd. As the winners, Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust will receive a free EDM distributed to the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce email database, worth $250.
